  1. I play through a small Fender Mustang I/II solid state. Les Paul Standard Pro Epiphone Les Paul Studio 100 Epiphone Squire Strat I have pedals however, I don't use them. I do have a signed Kirk Hammett Wah wah. I met him back in the early 80's before anyone knew who was. I have more gear. However, just sitting or standing in my bedroom I don't need a lot. That small Fender kills it. I believe in learning to use what you have is always the best trick....once you practice enough and that gear isn't getting you to where you want to go, try out new stuff!
  2. I could listen to this on repeat over and over. Before this I didn't know what Yellow sounded like!
  3. I'll get around to this probably tomorrow. There's a hockey game coming on in a few. Ok, I love hockey and we have a great team in Tampa
  4. The bluest blues is an amazing song. I never heard it before. Hp is the captain of this ship! I get something good from every tutorial!
  5. Hey Andrea check out the Elvin Lee song. Omg, One guitar, amazing!
  6. Samantha kills the 3 piece band format. I have been working on her opening licks for at least a week now.
  7. Hey Hanspeter. can I get you to check this out?

  8. I heard an electric cover someone had done on youtube. So much better on an acoustic!
  9. Lake of Fire or Where Did You Sleep Last Night. Both songs were made famous when Nirvana did them during their unplugged recordings. The Meat Puppets recorded them first. Nirvana only played them live to lengthen their live unplugged set. Lead Belly recorded these songs back in the 30's. He also did versions of House of the Rising Sun and Black Betty as well as Gallows Pole and Good Night Irene. It amazes me when you listen to all the old bluesmen you hear these songs and realize they have all been done before and handed down to a newer generation to rediscover them!
  10. Have you ever thought about covering any of the old Lead Belly songs?
  11. There is only one cover of that song that I have come across that is really any good. Social D tunes down a half step and uses capos.
  12. I think this one would benefit the community the most. 2 guitars 2 different lead parts. I love this song. However, there are others that are favs. but no one will learn much from a lot of the other songs the rest are easy. Bakersfield is interesting also.
