    It varys of the lesson. Some are short some long videos. The last I looked up was nearly 27min! The free content of the lesson explains the theme and s.th. more - but not all. I would need 6 lives to learn all whats interesting 😀. Aber man kann ja nicht auf allen Hochzeiten tanzen. Mir reicht oft schon etwas Inspiration. Du kannst ja mal selbst den YT Kanal ansschauen. Ich finde das Konzept wiegesagt gut.

    I thought for a while about your question HP... my conlusion: I'm fine with all the offerings you did allready and do in the future. There is allready so much I could learn from ...and I just have not enough time 😬 If I have a speacial question: I will post it in the forum and be happy for your answer... that would be fine 😀 My thoughts about premium content... If you want to change something to more premium... all I can say ...use the Method of the "Active Melody Forum" ..will say: Give Lessons withe 2 Videos. 1 Video with good basic content for free and the 2. Video with more and deeper insight into the lesson for premium. I'm a premium user (What cost so little!) and think everybody who is interested in guitar playin could efford the 5 € - to get your classy lessons! LG Andrea

    It works 😎. HP another thing I always wanted to mention: The Website design at the top- I can't read the writings and buttons! Its all black. Is ist only here on MY Pc? Look in the screenshot (I tried two browsers :Firefox and brave browser)

    Rhythm is the basic for all music - so a course would be good for all musicians. I know (HP) you allready have Videos with this topic. I like them.But if you ask me here today - I have more interest in the topic, lessons/videos and the focus on: "What is groove" "What makes music Groovy "How to groove" "How to play in time but with a good feel." etc... Examples with groovy feeling.... showing, talking and analysing Hooklines, Rhythm Licks of well known Songs. Demonstrating how they are played with the right feel. I don't have fun to do only rhythmstudys, without the inherent aim to groove with music to a good rhythm. I hope you get what (ONLY MY) standpoint and hint is. What would be important for this kind of course. So I voted for NO first, but now expain why and what would be more interesting for me . A course with studys about rhythm AND Groove. PS: Maybe I dont like the word: to control my music - because I often feel: the more I play controlled - I loose the fun, flow and groove & begin to tense up my muscles and brain. LG Andrea

      HI MIchael...

      Im play themes or some vamps from here and there ...--> into the looper and find my ways to solo and have fun. If I try to hard to play exercises -  I loose my own ways. I listen what comes out of my playing and go on that way, BUT I keep in mind - what I have learned here... and get better over time...

      HPs work has given me much input, but for me I can grow on 2-3 themes for long time.

      In the last years and during this corona wahnsinn, I have been in politics in my head and more & more unable to be in a steady good mood - to do music as usual.

      Life and my mind is changing constantly and I am happy to have the guitar by my side and I will play on without pain in my shoulders if I do my gym and dont take everything too serious.

      On the other side I like to check out gear, pickups, do some DIY, listen to music.

      I had the new NUX MG 300 here for 4 days but sent it back. It is very good for the money, but I prefer my 5Watt Tube Amp because of the feel & dynamics.

      I'll keep on picking & learnig but not so hard 😄

      If I make a little plan with some regulary exercises and study ca. 3 new Jazzstandards and some "styles" about the next year it will be fine.

      I dont have to make a music race, although I like Trash Metal & Hardcore (sometimes). But this fast music does not come out of myself. If I would study all things I like I would need some more lifetimes. So... its always a compromise.

      I am no professional musician - so ... I will begin to take it more easy now - Im 53years and will stay healthy. I did enough songs - and so ..the new morning brings a new song - I will play it and maby forget it again later 😁.

      Thanks guitarfriends - Got more problems with my shoulders - what hinders me to play as I would like to.

      I know I have to reduce time with my instrument. Thats not what I really want - so Im not very motivated and see me in a "little" conflict.

      I observe this problem for some years now.

      Thats not serious for life. I can play for hobby and thats ok. I will take some playin tips from HPs lessons and be fine - without too much aspiration.

    This helps - because it's good to KNOW what I play! ? Wenn ich Dur Penta Bluestonleiter spiele (denke), erkenne die b3 (Mollterz) jetzt erstmalig als Durchgangston. War mir gar nicht so bewußt! So habe ich nun eine neue Perspektive und einen Klasse Ansatz den ich gerne für den Turnaround übernehme! ...faszinierend! Mir geht grad ein Licht auf ? Das ergibt völlig neue Melodien ?     Hi... Guitars If I gig(ed) ...I play a Eastman Acoustic Dreadnought or a smaller Sigma , A Zoom A5 Pedal and a Looper. On the electric side I play Strat most of the time, but have Tele, Semi etc. I have plenty guitars, but until today I admit: I still dont have my real No1 where everything fits ? Anyway... if I feel good I can play something on every guitar. (with correct tuners and strings ?). Momentary I play a cheap self built Strat, because the neck is small and it is very dynamic what I like. Amps I prefer my cheap 50Watt Tube Amp in the practice Room. https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/SubZero-Tube-H50R-50W-Valve-Guitar-Amp-Head-Nearly-New/RUA At home I play a cheap Fame Tube5 Amp or with DrivePedals and the NUX SolidStudio and Headphone. I also have a Marshall Haze Amp and some more Amps .. but these two are the ones I prefer in the moment. Pedals: This is my pedalboard. It changes all the time. I have built a lot of guitar pedals because - I can -? .I feel The King of Tone is the best Drive - because of the schematic and the oldstock (fast) diodes inside. It is very dynamic. I dont gig with electric guitar and so it is just a hobby. For years I put all my small money only in the music gear because: (Who knows? ? ) I hope you can see the pics. Greets Andrea

    I also cant do these fast tempos; ? 1. It does not come out of me- I found out a long time ago_ Im more the laid back player. 2. It does not please me to play this way - although I like to listen to fast and hard drivin music sometimes. Im more interested in Groovy Styles.

    Andrea What an amazing blues song! ??? what do you mean with this answer Michael??? I dont really get it ? But again - for me and my time "to study and learn" I allready have enough.songs tutorials to choose from HPs archive ? Im fine with everything HP will make in the future. If I post a song in this thread, it really will be just a suggestion.

    PS: Maybe we make an extra Thread with GOOD SONGS to LISTEN not to make a tutorial. ? The Bluest BLues is a fine song that I did not know.
