  1. HP -like this easy jazz phrasing. Lots of possibility for improv!! Simple but sounds great.
Good intro to Jazz rhythm. I found that I used your backing track to develop a simple song in just about any key and throw in some melody and different positions for these same chords.
  2. HP, Appreciate the update on your status. Hang in there and do what you want to do. I've got plenty of material from you since I'm signed up for the year to keep me very busy for a long time. Rossi from Reno, Nevada
HP, I like these Jazz blues licks and the backing track. Seems like you can make it more Jazzy or Blues just the way you play it. Put more notes in for more Jazzy sound and fewer notes but more emphasis for Blues if that makes sense. Also is that Bb7 chord that you show that you like better a D 1/2 diminished chord 5656 from the A string? Regarless, I'm having fun with it and adding some other chords in as well. Good stuff!
I didn't know this song at first and went to You Tube to hear it being played. Sounds good, very jazzy and can't wait to get into it. Is there your YouTube that goes with it? Want to see how you play it would help along with your backing track.
I like your take on Blue Moon in Eb. I learned and have been playing Blue Moon in C. The Eb is good and I like it. At least I know the song in both Eb and C now. I'm thinking theBlue Moon in Eb can lead to more improvision. So, I' m playing around with the song in Eb to see what I can arrange.
Practicing Misty has been alot of fun. HP leaves the room for you to improvise and you can follow the backing track and it seems to be able to lead you into any improvsions you want. A great Jazz standard like Misty is a must to put into your list of songs to lean as far as I'm concerned. Good Stuff!!
I'm working my way through the Modal Backing tracks and saving the backing tracks. I'm using these tracks for different melodies in different keys that I come up with and it has been very helpful with my timing. Also playing with a backing track sounds much better.
  3. I like this Summertime version and learning a little improvisation will be great to re-learn Summertime with the improvisation . Thanks I'm enoying this alot. James
