    Hey Hanspeter,
I came across your personal note a few weeks ago and was touched by your message. I have been following your channel on and off over the years and have always enjoyed your tutorials. You are one of my favourite guitar teachers.
I really appreciate you sharing your personal message. When you are the last surviving member of your family, it would make you think about your priorities.
Please keep doing what you are doing and keep producing great music and teaching resources.
I am with you in believing that music can contribute to making the world a better place.
This weekend I came across an Autumn Leaves tutorial and decided that it was time to learn to play this piece that I’ve been wanting to learn for a long time.
This morning I found your tutorial and decided to watch it and found it was exactly the style that I wanted to learn, a mixture of jazz and blues.
i didn’t know know that your have a guitar meditation channel. I also use my guitar practice as my meditation practice.
Today I joined your guitar student club partly to support you and your efforts and to learn more about becoming a better guitarist.
I little bit about me. I live in Canberra, Australia. Last year I turned 70. I started to learn ukulele and guitar just before last Christmas. At the beginning of the year I became more interested in the guitar, blues and jazz. So in some ways I’m only an 8 month old guitarist.
I studied Sound and Sculpture at the Sydney College of the Arts but became a systems developer and business analyst to support the family.
Now that the kids have grown up and moved out, I’ve decided, like you, to focus on what I enjoy, which is to do with music and creativity and sharing knowledge.
Keep teaching and producing good music.
    Best Wishes

La Vie En Rose ( Edith Piaf ) - Guitar Lesson
Here you can learn the chords and the melody of one of the sweetest melodies from the 20th century. La vie en rose by Edith Piaf. The melody seems simple but it's a big a brainer to get the fingering done nicely. But I worked out a nice version for you.

Autumn Leaves - Jazz Guitar Lesson
Autumn Leaves is probably one of the most popular jazz standards and it's a must at every cool jazz jamsession. There are many ways to play Autumn Leaves on guitar and also many ways to create a cool improvisation over this great tune. In this tutorial I will show you a very easy approach to play the chords, the melody and to play a very simple but effectiv jazzy improvisation by moving a motiv in a way the melody already works. At the very end of this tutorial I will play a version which shall give you some inspiration. Below you find the chapters of this tutorial.

    Crispy Blues Guitar Licks
If you want to play a really crispy blues guitar solo to a funky track it's good to know a few licks and tricks which help you to sound really great and crispy with a few notes. All you need to do is to follow the chords and be really precise with your timing then it's not such a big deal to sound cool and professional. I show you a few licks which you can use to this progression here Bb7 / Eb 7 by following the chords with the mixolydian scales the easy way.
You can download the tabs and the backing track here :
If you have any questions please ask it in this post below or book a private online guitar lesson.

Otman reacted to admin in Compose A Guitar Song - Chapter 1
In this first chapter of the tutorial how to compose a guitar song I first introduce myself as a composer and then start to create a simple song with just 2 chords. The song which I am talking about is very simple, just a vamp D / G - in the tutorial I give some ideas how to develop your ideas with just these 2 chords by splitting it up and by using the technique of voice leading. This is a very useful technique which professional composers use to make a song and an arrangment sound great. This is the first chapter where I show you how to compose a guitar song - let me know what you think to see how far we can go here with these new tutorials.

Here you can learn how to sound like a guitar pro by only using 3 licks and my tricks of variation in resolving them either up or down. Once you have understood the system you can start to use your guitar licks in a very easy and variable way.
