Here you find some ideas and figures for old style jazz guitar comping. I have used a turn around in F as an example but you can use these exercises for all types of old style jazz standards. The backing track is only a high hat on 2 & 4 and a half time and normal time bass to get a feeling inside a band setting but also for a setting where the guitar is the only rhythm instrument.
