Admin admin Posted April 7, 2019 Admin Report Share Posted April 7, 2019 Request for new tutorials Hey folks, here you can request for new tutorials. As a member of the HPCrazy Students Club you can reply to this topic here. If the topic fits to generel strategy even it's specific I can do that. I am always happy to get some ideas for new tutorials. Members tigerwald
Guten tag! I think your tutorials are really helpful and fun. I am interested in using DADGAD tuning for blues music and would like to request a tutorial on that subject. Or if that doesn't fit into your "crazy" master plan, then I request another tutorial on acoustic guitar (I don't have an electric guitar...yet). Thanks in advance for your consideration and for your great teaching skill! :-) Randy
Admin admin Posted April 9, 2019 Author Admin Report Share Posted April 9, 2019 Hey there - I think about that tuning. That seems to be interesting. Acoustic can go as well but currently I am more on acoustic latin guitar. Members Uncle Larry
Hey HP, want to first say thanks for creating this great place. I make my music with just one guitar. Could use some tips on switching from rhythm to lead and sounding cool. I admire other players who play without a rhythm guitar. I don't wish to copy them; however, I could you some tips/guidelines. Hope I'm putting this request in the right place. Computers really aren't a strong point for me. PurpleGecko, Michael Bates and Randy

Hey Larry, you are welcome. Was pretty much work but since this little community is building up it was worth doing it. 6 hours ago, Uncle Larry said: Could use some tips on switching from rhythm to lead and sounding cool. Hi Uncle Larry, I'd recommend this lesson if you like blues - a nice mix of rhythm guitar and soloing... Randy and Michael Bates
Members Michael Bates
I like the blues rock theme on the electric. Anything to help me to transition from rhythm to playing lead would be helpful. I have been working out a lot of those concepts in your lessons. However, I need more. I have always played rhythm guitar in bands, never lead. I have played lots of open jams where I was playing rhythm and during the song we were playing was asked to solo and was never ready to do that I would just shake my head no. Now I want to be able to say yes I'm ready....put me in coach! Edited April 3, 2020 by Michael Bates To many run on sentences lol Randy
Admin admin Posted April 3, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted April 3, 2020 Hey Micheal - ok I see. I think I can do something like this since this is a pretty common problem of learning guitarists. I think about something and make a video. Members Sara
Hi HP, I would like to make a request for a new tutorial. Could you make a tutorial with guitar licks that are good for the endings of jazz and/or blues songs? I couldn't find any tutorials that you did on that subject - did I miss it? I find that the songs that go over the best when I play for others are the ones with well thought out, very obvious endings. Besides stealing ideas from recordings, I wonder if there are some strategies to ending songs well. And/or strategies for ending a song all at the same time when you are playing with others - I am very clueless about that. Thanks for your consideration and also for the amazing lessons - especially during the last few weeks it has been a great thing to look forward to. Admin admin Posted April 13, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted April 13, 2020 Hi Sara, yes that makes sense. I think about a few licks and make the tutorial. Not today since I did blues in the past 2 tutorials. Endings are always the tricky part - like flying an airplane taking off and landing is the tricky part of a song - once you are in the air all works easy and fine. Yes the past few weeks were challenging for everybody I guess. I am glad I could contribute something for others. ? Members Sara
Thank you so much. I totally understand what you mean about the airplane - really looking forward to your tutorial on this subject. admin and Randy
Members Andrea Joy
Just my feedback: I'm pleased with any lesson you bring on youtube... so I don't have a particular request HP. I allways catch something for me - even if it's just inspiration. If I have a special request some day ... I will make a comment here. Admin admin Posted November 27, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted November 27, 2020 Hey guys, let me know what your interests would be when it comes to new tutorials. I try to work out your requests since you guys are here in the Students Club 🙂 I always try to work out a mixture of popular - general topics and rare topics, techniques or rare songs which are not talked about on YouTube. It's always kind of a compromise - so you guys can help me out if you want. 🙂 Michael Bates and Randy 2 www.hanspeterkruesi.comif you love this website please support it either with aPremium Membership or / andDonation
Members Sara
I like all your lessons, especially anything to do with jazz and Spanish/Flamenco guitar. I hope you have plans to post more videos of your "acid" jazz - that last one you posted a long time ago was so unique and amazing. (Here is a link for those who missed it) Maybe that is too difficult to teach but hope you post more performances in the future. 🙂 Michael Bates and Randy
Admin admin Posted November 30, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted November 30, 2020 Hey Sara, thanks for the reminder. As I said I was stuck into technical changements of the HPCrazy Guitar Academy and also the Farbmusik Livestreaming Concerts. All is finishend and I am ready to get into creative parts again. Meaning to get into the topics you mentioned as well. Also the Guitar Nights will come again. And there I in fact want to do acid jazz stuff.
