Admin admin Posted May 11, 2020 Admin Report Share Posted May 11, 2020 Here you can learn the rock and roll guitar which can be played in the song Long Tall Sally by Little Richard. Even there is no guitar in the original song of course there can be a guitar played to this song. And what I'm showing here can be used for any other kind of rock and roll guitar situation. Since I have been playing in a professional rock and roll band for a long time I have the experience how rock and roll guitar on stage works and what the tricks are behind and I am showing this to you in this tutorial. The main thing in the rhythm guitar is that you have a steady relaxed right hand and you have the accent on count two and four. To be able to keep this going on a whole show like for one hour you have to be very relaxed. So pay close attention to the instructions I am giving you here. When it comes to lead guitar a rock and roll band situation is not as easy to handle as you might think. One of the main problems is that you need to keep the pressure and the Beat of the Music going on and don't lose it when you switch to lead guitar. With the instructions I'm giving you here you are ready to proceed this and to sound really cool in a rock and roll guitar situation. Members Michael Bates
Love the simple guitar solo. That makes sense. Like I was saying before my buddy, kept telling me while we played one of his songs keep it simple. He said all you need to do is play a solo like you showed there and follow the chords. No need to over think it like I was trying to do. Simple is better sometimes. It works! Thanks for the lesson friend.
Admin admin Posted May 12, 2020 Author Admin Report Share Posted May 12, 2020 Yes in this case the simple guitar solo is the one which works best. I tried on many liveperformances in that rock n roll band I played and at the end it turned out to be the simple one which worked the most effectiv way. ?
