Hey guys,

here I will post updates which come in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy. So here are the current updates :

1. Guitar Secrets - I have renamed the Guitar Techniques into this new name and there will some amazing stuff coming in the very near future with this new title.

2. SEO Improvment - I did not do so much for Google optimization for this website here. But I started with it as a first step which a much easier navigation for you guys. BTW - it you run a website - any link to the HPCrazy Guitar Academy is much apprechiated.

3. Livestreaming - The livestreaming somehow is still in the beta phase - I have change the software now to OBS and I will be working it out that announced livestreams will in fact show up there where they are announced. This seems to be a much bigger problem then I thought.

How to participate to the HPCrazy Students Club

HPCrazy Students Club is the place where you can be a part our guitar community which is learning and exploring guitar playing and loving guitar in all ways.  The features of HPCrazy students Club are free for all members just hit the “ join “ button.  Then you can post topics, upload and download files and participate the community.

Share your learning process with me and other students to learn more !

I want to encourage every student to post video's of your recording how you managed any lesson you found in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy. You can share, discuss and learn from others and when I have time I will also give you a review of your playing. Best would be to share your playing as a YouTube video from your own YouTube account - or any other video platform - but YouTube works best here. Just add your link and the video gets displayed.

To get a review do the following steps :

1. Open a new topic
2. Add the link to the lesson you are referring to
3. Add the link to the YouTube video where we can see you playing. Best would be that we see the whole guitar and both hands.
4. Share the link of the topic of your playing to your pals here in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy and / or your status update.

I am planing to do exams for different playing levels - like you can make an exam if you want to get from beginner to intermediate or from intermediate  to advanced, adavenced to semi - professional and of course from semi - professional to professional.

What do you guys think about this ? ?

I havent thought it totally thru but something like that. You just need to record a video where you play related to what you learnt then I can see if a student passed the level or not. ?

I like this idea...so to make sure I'm understanding this correctly do you mean that we can post something that we learned from the tutorials here?

You mean about the exams ? That concept is an idea but not worked out at the moment. But for any tutorial you can post how you managed the tutorial and see who comments. ?

Thanks for the clarification HP...

I think it might be a good idea for students to post thier progress on a tutorial that they are working on for both encouragement from other members and to encourage other members...

Exactly thats the idea behind it. The  community helps eachother to progress. I can also comment from time to time or to start but I don't have so much free time left for that. It would also give the community a better " together " vibe. ?

well it was not my idea - I do offer a guitar diploma and I have the right to give those diploma's at least here in Switzerland if somebody want to do the job as a guitarist as profession. So somebody came with the idea to offer these awards also for other playing levels. I don't really know if students would want it. The final diploma they want but the others I dont know.....

Hey friend, I really hope you know I have only been joking about this. I think it's a great idea! And I have been kidding the whole time. I have to figure out how to use what I have here to record video and audio to enter into the fun! Dust my Broom was very inspiring!

I have a question, HP.

I have been working on Autumn Leaves, lets see when I can get something together and if I have the courage to share.  Would you recommend that I use your backing track that I downloaded during my premium membership (I hope to be a premium member again soon by the way) or would it be better to record our own backing tracks?

it's no problem to share your recording. This is about learning and not to show off ? I would recommend to use the backing track you downloaded - this gives the whole thing kind of a structure. ?

I have reordered everything now so the navigation here in the memberarea gets easier. You might check it out.

What is  new are the picks on the bottom of the page. There you find promoted content with cool " Must Have " stuff or important information.

And new is the highlighted Status Update feature which give you more interaktiv possibilities with other members here in the member section.

I think slowly we are approaching a really cool and interaktiv system where you can have a lot of fun. ?

I have made the book keeping for 2020 now and the  big suprise is that the HPCrazy Guitar Academy slowly gets a bit on  stable financial feet.  Thanks for everybody who made the premiem membership upgrade - i think it's worth and can encourage you all to keep it going - slowly we are all together getting somewhere. 🙂

Hey guys, there is a new feature available now on my channel. The super chat and the super stickers which can be used during a premiere oder a livestream. With the superchat features you can give me and dr pink a donation of your choise during a live broadcast - we would really welcome that and we are already saying thank you. What exactly the super sticker feature is doing we dont know. Please check out the new features and let us know what you think. 🙂

 

And the next news is that i will be changing the days of the uploads to Tuesday and Friday. Fits better with my weekly schedules.
