Admin admin Posted October 1, 2021 Admin Report Share Posted October 1, 2021 La Vie En Rose ( Edith Piaf ) - Guitar Lesson Here you can learn the chords and the melody of one of the sweetest melodies from the 20th century. La vie en rose by Edith Piaf. The melody seems simple but it's a big a brainer to get the fingering done nicely. But I worked out a nice version for you. Admin admin Posted December 17, 2022 Author Admin Report Share Posted December 17, 2022 Hey Otman, yes this song is very famous and most of the people never play or learn it. I am glad you found it and now you can soon play it. It's not so hard, but a wonderful melody. Premium Otman Posted December 19, 2022 Premium Report Share Posted December 19, 2022 Hey HP, Thanks for the lesson. This is a beautiful tune. This is a real finger exerciser!! Really fun challenge. Have you seen the version by Emmet Cohen and Cyrille Aimée? Check it out on YouTube. It is full of Joy de vive! She is full of energy. I think you will enjoy it. It is quite different from most versions.

Premium bryanrd Posted August 3, 2023 Premium Report Share Posted August 3, 2023 Hi HP, Fairly new member... Love the site! I especially like the song lessons, particularly the jazz standard ones. These are great entry points to being able to play and understand these tunes! So, thank you! Was wondering if you have the chord diagrams for this song from the verse that you use? For me, it would be helpful to "see" them a little better as well as understand and analyze them. If not, no big deal! I appreciate what you are doing - thanks so much! Cheers, Bryan
Admin admin Posted August 4, 2023 Author Admin Report Share Posted August 4, 2023 Hey Bryan, welcome here in the HPCrazy Guitar Academy. That's nice that you love this site - and in fact I want to make the jazz department really a high quality source for jazz guitar fans - even it's not so popular on YouTube. I added some chords which work with the melody in this PDF - not too easy to grab but the melody defines that you can not take regular chords. It'll get there! admin
