Minor Blues Guitar Masterclass ( Gary Moore Style )

Here you can learn everything you need to know to master a minor blues in the style of Gary Moore or other players in the ballpark. I will show you the chords, the form and the modes which are used in this type of minor blues and a simple way how you can follow the chords. Control over time and space and sound is also important - also try to make music by interacting with the other instruments playing. The biggest mistake you can do on minor blues is to play too many notes. It's all about time, space, form and control of your tone.

If you have any questions please ask it in this post below or book a private online guitar lesson.

Yes in bar no. 4 we have a C7b9b13 chord so the normal C minor mode does not fit anymore. In such cases you look for the nearest most related mode which is possible in this case it would be the C phrygian nat. 3 mode or phyrgian also works but would not be totaly correct because the C7 chord has an E and not an Eb in the chord.
