Jazz Guitar Secrets - II V Chord Progression ( Major )

One of the most valuable methods in jazz guitar is to work out different modules, where you put together a few chords to a block and you work out chords or improvisation for the full module. The most important modul is the II V chord progression. In this case I am talking about the II V chord progression in a major mode. Here it's the chord progression Gm7 / C7. I will show you some basic chords which you can practice and the modes which are attached to those chords. These are Dorian and Mixolydian. Then I will show you how you can start to work out your improvisation skills by using the modes, arpeggio's and approach notes. At the end of the tutorial you are able to manage your first jazz guitar modul. The II V in any major mode situation.
