The most important modul is the II V chord progression. In this case I am talking about the II V chord progression in a major mode. Here it's the chord progression Gm7 / C7. I will show you some basic chords which you can practice and the modes which are attached to those chords. These are Dorian and Mixolydian. Then I will show you how you can start to work out your improvisation skills by using the modes, arpeggio's and approach notes.
