jazz Monk Style Jazz Improvisation

I want to share this recording I did a few days ago. This was a spontanious improvisation after recording a jazz guitar tutorial with the backing track I created for that tutorial :

 

The special thing of this recording is that I have been working for many months on a new jazz guitar style in my process of redefining my way of making music and improvising. I originaly studied jazz guitar but through my many years being an online instructor I have be drawn much into blues and rock guitar because these are the popular genres. I felt now that I want to bring more jazz vibes into my guitar style in performances and I feel like I found my new style a bit. It's a combination from the great styles of Miles Davis, George Benson and Thelonious Monk. In this improvisation I could break free from concepts, patterns and licks and just go for a sponatious creation of jazz - that's the reason why I enjoy this recording so much and there will be more to come.
